Welcome to “The Pipeline” my faithful, fearless Mortgage Industry friends!

Faithful?  Fearless?  At the very least, those two qualities fit if you’re still making it work in today’s mortgage industry.  Give yourself a pat on the back (or an appointment with your psychologist).  Seriously though, despite the unprecedented challenges that we face, I’m continuously uplifted by the spirit of optimism and openness for change that I witness every day. 

With change comes opportunity, and lots of it!  I’m excited about the return to traditional fundamentals in mortgage lending and underwriting guidelines because it elevates the need for experienced mortgage professionals with technical expertise. 

So, we need to keep ahead of all this change and continue to learn and improve every day.  With that in mind, I created The Pipeline as a gift to you and all my friends in the mortgage origination community.  Calling all Loan Officers, Branch Managers, Processors, Closers, Underwriters, secondary, ops & management, the whole origination team.  Lenders, brokers, wholesale & correspondent AE’s… this is for you.  I’m also thinking about appraisers, our MI & title industry friends, settlement agents… yes you too.  If you’re connected to the residential lending process we want to hear from you. 

I want this weblog to be “The Pipeline” of ideas for our industry and a collaborative exchange of articles, opinions, discussions and opportunities for growth.  I need your help and involvement, so don’t be shy… let us know what you think!   Oh, and of course, the more the merrier… so feel free to forward this to your faithful, fearless friends.
